Evan’s eclectic approach has allowed him to make dynamic work across forms and genres. He has produced and directed several music videos and short films that have played in festivals around the world, from IFFR in the Netherlands to AFRIFF in Lagos. Working in the film industry for many years has allowed him to gain experience in a wide range of roles in long form narrative, commercials and television. These include creative research, development, writing and directing. He has worked with brands such as Adidas, Liberty and Woolworths. His first feature screenplay was selected for the second round of the Sundance Writer’s Lab in 2018. He holds a BAFA in Fine Art from UCT’s Michaelis School of Fine Art.
